April 6th, 2000, 9 Am
Howie & Doris Whiting, Frank & Dee Whitney. We our on our way To Abilene TX. Show with our show cases.

Stopped at Plains for lunch at Dairy Queen. Doris was hit in the head with a big plastic tray from the top of the soft drink machine. Doris is ok had a hard time finding out if they wanted to knock her out or wake her up. It about did both.

Back on the road to Brownfield TX. got gas there did not get enough at Dairy Queen. On the road again headed to Post TX. Where we will spend the night. Post View RV Park. Nice park Full hook up $16:00 a night.

April 7th, 2000
On the road again to Abilene TX. Was set up by 4 PM. Back to civic center for supper at 7 P.M.. They had a pot luck all the food was very ,very good free to vendors and exhibitors. All there club members greeted us with open arms and thanked us for coming. Howie had happy hour at his trailer; 17 attended.
Had a wonderful time there.
