At every club meeting, our club presents a program that in some way relates to the field of geology (a very broad field). Presented programs may include slide shows, videos, demonstrations or hands-on activities. Past programs have covered topics such as Gold Mining and Panning, Turquoise formation, Casting Fossils, Gems of Russia, Oil and Gas Exploration, and History of the Mineral Museum in Socorro, NM. We are constantly striving to bring quality programs that are educational and informative to our members and the general public.
